Home Services Hot Tub Moving
Specialty · Hot tubs

Heavy lifting for your backyard oasis.

A standard hot tub can weigh 500 to 1,000 pounds even when empty, which makes it unsafe to move without the right equipment and expertise. We use specialized dollies and proven techniques to safely relocate your spa — across town or just across your yard — without damage or hassle.

What to expect

How our schedule works

1

The day before

We finalize routes and reach out around 3:00 PM with a 2-hour arrival window. Let us know of any strict time constraints.

2

Moving day

Our crew calls or texts about 20 minutes before we pull up during your window.

Additional logistics.

Drain & dry

The tub must be completely drained of all water and as dry as possible to prevent leaking during transport.

Electrical disconnect

For safety, the hot tub must be fully disconnected from its 220V hardwired source by a licensed electrician or the homeowner — our crews don't handle high-voltage connections.

Disposal is offered as an add-on to a move or delivery: a flat fee to haul away the exact item we're replacing (an old spa, mattress, or couch), or our standard hourly rate plus dump fees for a full dump run or donation drop-off mid-move.

The Top Notch difference

We move it
like it's ours.

Same trained crews, every job — many from Utah's rugby community, where teamwork and trust are everything. We wrap, lift, and place your things with the kind of care most movers reserve for their own.

Quick answers.

Do I need to prep the hot tub before you arrive?+
Yes — it must be fully drained, dried, and disconnected from its 220V power by a licensed electrician or the homeowner before our crew arrives.
Do you offer standalone disposal runs?+
To protect our schedule for moving clients, donation and disposal runs are offered exclusively as an add-on to an existing moving, delivery, or labor-only job.
Will you provide a donation receipt for my taxes?+
If we drop your items at a recognized charity or donation center, we're happy to grab a blank donation receipt and hand it over when we finish.
