Provo movers,
from Joaquin to the Riverbottoms.

Provo packs a century of housing into one city — narrow staircases in Joaquin, sprawling floor plans in the Riverbottoms, and student apartments that turn over almost overnight every spring and fall. We've moved all of it. Every Provo job gets its own plan, because no two of these houses move alike.

A century of houses, one standard of care.

No city in Utah County asks more range of a moving crew than Provo. A single working week here can run from a 1910s bungalow near downtown to a sprawling home in the Riverbottoms to a fourth-floor apartment that empties and refills every semester — three jobs with three completely different sets of risks. We've put fifteen years and more than a thousand moves into this valley, and Provo is where the variety lives. That's why every job here starts with a real walkthrough — in person, on a live video call, or from a video you upload — and ends with one guaranteed flat price built for that specific house, not a house like it. No hourly clock-watching, no separate truck charge, and anything travel-related spelled out in writing before you book.

Old houses don't forgive sloppy movers.

The historic neighborhoods around downtown and the university — Joaquin, Maeser, and the streets between them — are full of homes that predate the moving truck entirely. They come with narrow staircases, doorways cut to older proportions, plaster walls that mark at a touch, and original hardwood that deserves to outlive everyone in the room. Moving a household through all that takes patience and padding, not speed. On our Mid tier, fragile pieces are wrapped inside the house before they travel and floor protection goes down along the hardwood paths; Premium wraps and protects everything, top to bottom, with full disassembly and reassembly. The walkthrough maps the route piece by piece — which doorway each dresser uses, where the stairs pinch, what gets wrapped before it moves — so the crew arrives executing a plan instead of improvising one. Across more than a thousand moves we've kept 99% of them damage-free, and careful work in houses like these is a big part of how.

April and August: the great Provo reshuffle.

Twice a year, Provo rearranges itself. Leases roll over in late April and late August with BYU's calendar setting the tempo, and for a couple of weeks the whole east side seems to be carrying a couch somewhere. Two pieces of advice from the crews who work it: book as early as you can, because those windows fill fast — a 25% deposit holds your date and stays fully refundable up to 48 hours out — and right-size the service. The Value tier keeps a small move lean: load, transport, unload, essentials wrapped in the truck. If you've rented your own truck, our labor-only crews will load or unload it with proper strapping, bringing the straps, dollies, and basic tools themselves. Outside the crunch weeks, we can often field a crew same-day or next-day, depending on the season.

The Riverbottoms, Center Street, and everything between.

At the other end of the spectrum sit the Riverbottoms — larger homes, longer carry paths, and furniture that earns the Premium tier: full in-home wrapping, full floor protection, disassembly and reassembly, and pro-packing into heavy-duty, water-resistant totes that stay with you for seven days after the move. Appliance deliveries up this way often involve the professional-grade and custom-paneled units that standard crews refuse; ours don't. New furniture follows the same standard — collected from the showroom, warehouse, or a private seller, carried in, assembled, placed, and the packaging gone before you've decided where the lamp goes.

Downtown, Center Street keeps its own hours, so our commercial moves run after hours and on weekends — offices, shops, and restaurants, along with the industrial fridges and heavy commercial cooking equipment behind them, scheduled so the business barely notices it happened. We recently moved an entire cookie shop, so we mean it when we say bring us the heavy stuff.

Pianos come with the territory.

Provo houses hold pianos the way other cities hold lawnmowers, and we've been moving them since 2014. Base rates are flat by piano size — upright or grand, with organs and digital keyboards on their own flat rates — and stairs are priced at $10 per step for grands and tall uprights, $5 for short uprights. Basement routes get quoted case-by-case so the right gear arrives the first time. If the new home isn't ready, climate-controlled piano storage is available; and once the instrument lands, let it acclimate for a couple of weeks before booking a tuning.

Leaving Provo? We go where you're going.

Graduations, job offers, and growing families pull a steady stream of households out of Provo every year, and our long-distance moves are structured to keep that affordable: full-service one-way hauls where we rent the truck one direction and fly the crew home, shared loads that split travel costs when your dates flex, or a hybrid where we load the truck here in Utah and you take the wheel. Long-distance packing rides in heavy-duty cardboard boxes built for the haul, and a 50% non-refundable deposit locks the trucks, flights, and crew days that keep an interstate move on schedule. Pianos make the trip too — Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, and California are all regular destinations.

Wherever the move points, it starts the same way: the quote form, a ballpark, a walkthrough, and one flat price in writing — followed by the day-before 3:00 PM call with a two-hour window and a twenty-minute heads-up from the crew on the day. Provo is the busiest, most varied city we serve in Utah County, and honestly, that's why we like it.

Local answers

Provo moving questions.

Can you move us out of an older Joaquin or Maeser home without beating up the house?+
That's exactly what the walkthrough is for. Homes in Provo's historic neighborhoods come with narrow staircases, tight landings, and plaster walls that don't forgive bumps — so we plan the route piece by piece, wrap fragile items in-home on our Mid and Premium tiers, and lay floor protection before anything heavy moves. Across 1,000+ moves, 99% have been damage-free — and careful work in old houses is a big part of why.
How far ahead should we book an April or August move in Provo?+
As far as you can. Provo's rental calendar turns over in waves — late April and late August are the crunch — and those weeks fill fast. A 25% deposit locks your date and stays fully refundable up to 48 hours out, so there's no downside to booking early. Outside the crunch windows, we can often get a crew out same-day or next-day, depending on the season.
Do you do small moves — a one-bedroom apartment, or just loading a rental truck?+
Yes. The Value tier keeps full-service simple and budget-friendly — load, transport, unload, with essentials wrapped in the truck. Labor-only goes further still: we'll load or unload your U-Haul, Penske, or POD with proper strapping while you keep the keys and the drive. Flat rate for single specialty items, hourly with a standard minimum for multi-task jobs.
After graduation we're leaving Utah — can you move us out of state?+
We run long-distance moves constantly: full-service one-way hauls where we rent the truck and fly the crew home, shared loads that split travel costs when your dates flex, and a hybrid where we load here and you drive. Long-distance jobs take a 50% non-refundable deposit because we pre-book trucks, flights, and multiple days. Pianos travel too — Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, and California are all regular destinations.
