Park City's Old Town is one of the trickiest places to move furniture in Utah, and we mean that affectionately. The streets are steep, narrow, and short on parking; the historic homes climb the hillside with tight landings, low doorways, and staircases from the mining era; and in winter, snowbanks shrink everything further. A successful Old Town move is planned like a small production: where the truck stages, how each oversized piece routes through the house, which items get disassembled before they ever meet a doorway.

That's why the walkthrough matters more here than almost anywhere. By the time our crew sets a dolly on an Old Town sidewalk, the plan already accounts for the hill, the landing, and the one cabinet that has to come in through the deck. Deer Valley and the resort condos: moves by appointment.

Resort properties move on reservations. Deer Valley and the condo buildings around Park City run scheduled loading docks, reserved elevators, HOA rules, and quiet hours — and a moving company that treats those as suggestions becomes a story the building manager tells for years. We work the opposite way: tell us the building's requirements when you book, and the move gets built around them. Our standard rhythm — day-before confirmation around 3:00 PM with a two-hour window, a twenty-minute call-ahead from the crew — exists precisely so a reserved dock and an arriving truck meet on time.

Many of these homes are second homes, which means the owner is often somewhere else entirely. No problem: walkthroughs happen by live video call or an uploaded video, quotes and booking happen remotely, and the property manager or designer can hold the keys. You see the finished room; we handle everything between. And when the household itself is arriving from out of state, our long-distance service carries it end to end — one-way trucks with the crew flown home afterward, and the team that loads your old home is the same one that unloads it at altitude.

The basin: Kimball Junction to Promontory.

Day to day, most of the county's moving happens in the Snyderville Basin. Kimball Junction is the working hub, with Jeremy Ranch, Pinebrook, and Silver Summit stacked along I-80 — homes that move like family homes anywhere, just with better views and longer staircases. East of them, communities like Promontory hold estate-scale properties where the manifest reads like a gallery inventory: oversized art, custom furniture, and pianos destined for great rooms. Summit County is the natural home of our trade work. For interior designers, our designer delivery and install crews collect sourced pieces from receiving warehouses, storage units, or showrooms, lay floor protection, assemble what needs assembling, place every piece under your direction, and haul away the debris before the client pulls into the driveway. Full installs run on hourly rates with single heavy deliveries quoted flat, and the standard out-of-valley travel fee is noted in the quote — never discovered after.

Coalville and Henefer follow I-80 north through ranch country. And while the Heber Valley sits next door over the county line, the Summit side of that line is regular ground for us from Old Town to the last gravel driveway in Francis.
