1. Agreement
By requesting a quote or booking services with Top Notch Movers LLC ("Top Notch Movers," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. The specific scope, price, and schedule of your move are set out in the written quote we provide.
2. Quotes & Pricing
Quotes are based on the information you provide and, where applicable, a walkthrough (in-home, video, or uploaded). Your written, flat-rate quote is the price you pay for the agreed scope. Changes to the scope on or before move day — added items, additional stops, stairs or access not previously disclosed, or extra services — may adjust the price. We do not charge hidden fuel or surprise weight fees.
3. Deposits, Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Local moves: a 25% deposit secures your date and is fully refundable if you cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance.
- Long-distance moves: a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date, as out-of-state moves require us to pre-book one-way truck rentals, crew travel, and multi-day scheduling.
- Specialty services (piano, hot tub, appliance, delivery, and labor-only jobs) are scheduled and quoted individually; deposit and cancellation terms are stated in your quote.
4. Payment
The balance of your move is due upon completion unless otherwise stated in your quote. We accept the payment methods listed at the time of booking.
5. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate details about your move, items, and access.
- Complete any required preparation before our crew arrives (for example, draining and electrically disconnecting a hot tub, or emptying appliances).
- Ensure a clear, safe path and legal parking at both locations.
- Remove or separately handle hazardous materials, perishables, and irreplaceable items (cash, jewelry, documents).
6. Liability & Claims
We handle your belongings with professional care and carry insurance on every move. In the event of loss or damage caused by us, claims must be reported promptly and in writing. Our liability is limited to the terms of our coverage and applicable law. We are not liable for items packed by the customer, pre-existing damage, or damage to items not disclosed as fragile or high-value.
7. Items We Cannot Move
For safety and legal reasons we cannot transport hazardous materials, flammables, explosives, or illegal items. Let us know in advance about specialty, oversized, or high-value items so we can plan accordingly.
8. Scheduling & Delays
We provide a 2-hour arrival window and contact you ahead of arrival. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, access issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, but we will communicate clearly and work with you to reschedule when needed.
9. SMS / Text Message Program
Program description: Top Notch Movers Appointment Reminder & Confirmation Texts. By providing your mobile number when you request a quote or book a job, you consent to receive appointment reminders and confirmations related to residential moves, specialty moves, labor, install, delivery, staging, demolition, and junk removal services from Top Notch Movers LLC.
- Opting out: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a one-time confirmation text that you have been removed from the program; after that, no further messages will be sent. You can rejoin at any time by opting in again.

- Frequency & rates: message frequency varies with your appointment activity. Message and data rates may apply.
- Privacy: mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any dispute will be handled in the appropriate courts of Utah.
